Reliable Pharmaceutical Supply for Private and Public Healthcare
The Pharmaceuticals Division of Ducray Lenoir supports healthcare providers across Mauritius through the importation, distribution, and supply of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Working in compliance with national regulatory authorities and international pharmaceutical standards, the division ensures that hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions have reliable access to essential medicines used in both routine and specialised medical care.
The division operates through two specialised departments:
- Private Pharma Department
- Public Pharma Department

Each department focuses on specific healthcare channels while contributing to the same objective: ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient pharmaceutical supply to support patient care across the healthcare system.
Head of Department

The Private Pharma Department is led by Kevish Woodun, the Head Of Cluster – Pharma, OTC, Vet, who is responsible for supplying pharmaceutical products to private healthcare providers, pharmacies, and clinics.

The Public Pharma is led by Renga Cunthen, Pharmacist-In-Charge, who is responsible for managing the supply of essential medicines to public healthcare institutions and government bodies.
Supporting the Private Healthcare Sector
The Private Pharma Department manages the importation, distribution, and promotion of pharmaceutical products for the private healthcare sector in Mauritius.
The department collaborates with pharmacies, private clinics, and medical specialists, ensuring that healthcare professionals have access to reliable medicines supported by efficient logistics and distribution services.
As Mauritius relies heavily on imported medicines, Ducray Lenoir holds the necessary licences for the importation, wholesale, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, operating in full compliance with national regulatory authorities, including the Pharmacy Board and the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
Through its established logistics and delivery network, the department ensures timely supply of pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers across the island.
Supporting the Public Healthcare System
The Public Pharma Department focuses on the supply of pharmaceutical products to the public healthcare sector through participation in government procurement and tender processes.
With strong expertise in public sector procurement, the department manages complex tender procedures while assisting partners in meeting the regulatory and administrative requirements of the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
All operations are conducted in strict compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and follow internal policies related to ethics, transparency, and anti-corruption.
