    Sales Representative – Medical Consumables

  • Main Responsibilities

    1. Operational Efficiency
    • Assist the Sales Executive in the preparation of the monthly and annual budget per product, customer and Supplier.
    • Ensure Sales forecasts are achieved within the allocated customer portfolio.
    • Prepare and submit weekly sales report to Sales Executive.
    • Propose products selling price in line with market dynamics
    • Provide technical information to customers, as and when required.
    • Prepare weekly visit plan and visit reports
    • Monitor Monthly Customer Performance v/s budget
    • Prepare a visit itinerary and appointments in view of suppliers’ visits
    • Collect competition data during Suppliers’ visit
    • Report regularly on competitors’ new products and initiatives
    • Collect competitor’s price list at regular intervals
    • Benchmark our products and service compare to competitors’ products and service.
    • Work out a plan to beat our competitors on the market
    • Submit monthly feedback and market information for the preparation of suppliers’ report
    • Commit to delivering results in accordance to Quality Policy and Right First Time
    • Assist in maintenance of the quality management system including auditing activities for continuing adaptability and suitability
    • Improve and maintain housekeeping and orderliness in the workplace.
    2. Revenue Generation
    • Introduce new products to customers
    • Maximise Ducray Lenoir product range in customer portfolio
    • Prepare tenders and ensure timely delivery and submission
    • Manage follow-up with customer to ensure payments are made within defined limits
    • Ensure that all store forms are enclosed within deadline
    • Prepare monthly debtors’ feedback report
    • Send request for quotations to suppliers
    • Prepare and submit to Sales Support all prices, brochures and technical details required for the preparation of quotations and tenders.
    • Assist Sales Support to ensure that all quotations and tenders are sent to customers within deadline and in such a way to give Ducray Lenoir the maximum chance to secure the order
    3. Customer Experience
    • Ensure quotation has been duly received by customer through phone tracking
    • Acknowledge receipt of orders to customers
    • Ensure customers are informed about order processing
    • Inform customers on a weekly basis of status of pending orders
    • Handle customer complaints within defined deadline.
    4. Stock Management
    • Submit sales forecast for products to be ordered.
    • Prepare and update action plan for stock items which have expiry dates of less than six months.
  • Job Requirements

    1. Qualifications & Experience
    • Minimum Higher School Certificate with recognised functional expertise in either professional, technical or sales background
    • University degree in Sales or Scientific field will be an advantage
    • Minimum 2 years including a minimum related experience in operations and routines
    • Marketing and Sales Strategies oriented
    • Solution oriented with an analytical approach to sales performance and market trend
    • Fully computer literate
    • Communication skills both written and spoken
    • Fluent in French and English both written and spoken
    • Nursing skills would be an advantage
    • Holder of a Private Car driving License

    • Track sales orders, coordinate with logistics, and ensure timely delivery.

    • Problem-solving mindset to resolve client or operational challenges.
