Overview
The Veterinary Department of Ducray Lenoir specialises in the distribution of high-quality veterinary pharmaceuticals, vaccines, nutritional products, and animal health solutions for livestock, poultry, and companion animals.
The department works closely with internationally recognised manufacturers to ensure that veterinarians, breeders, and animal health professionals in Mauritius have access to reliable and effective veterinary products that meet recognised international standards.
Beyond product distribution, the team supports the full lifecycle of veterinary solutions locally. This includes product registration, importation, regulatory compliance, distribution, and market development. By combining strong supplier partnerships with an experienced local team and an established distribution network, the department ensures that veterinary professionals receive dependable products together with responsive service and technical support.

Through its activities, the Veterinary Department contributes to improving animal health, supporting livestock productivity, and promoting responsible veterinary care across the country.
Head of Department
The Veterinary division is led by Kevish Woodun, the Head of Cluster – Pharma, OTC, Vet, who is responsible for overseeing operations and driving performance.

The department provides a wide range of veterinary products designed to support preventive care, treatment, and overall animal wellbeing.
These include:
- Vitamins and nutritional supplements to support animal health, immunity, and performance
- Deworming products for effective parasite control in livestock and companion animals
- Anti-tick and anti-flea treatments to manage external parasites and protect animal health
- Non-seasonal shedding solutions that help manage coat health and reduce excessive hair loss
- Skin and coat care products that promote healthy skin and improved hair coat condition
- Products for the management of osteoarthritis, supporting mobility and joint health in animals
- Vaccines designed to prevent common infectious diseases affecting livestock and pets
- Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications used in veterinary treatment protocols
- Veterinary supplements that support recovery, growth, and overall wellbeing

Key Highlights
Veterinary Ambulance Project – 2024
In 2024, Ducray Lenoir participated in an important Veterinary Ambulance initiative aimed at improving emergency veterinary response across Mauritius.
The project introduced a fully equipped veterinary ambulance designed to provide rapid medical assistance to breeders and livestock owners across the island. The service achieves approximately 90% geographical coverage and operates on a 24/7 basis, helping ensure that urgent veterinary care can be delivered when and where it is needed.
